Our 7yr old Boston Terrier had some aggression issues with other animals it was also a chore to take him for a walk he pulled so much. We are amazed at his transformation! He is now socializing with other dogs and is a joy to walk. Cindy is amazing not only did she train our Luke but she shared her knowledge and tools so we can train our new puppy as well. We are so happy we found Cindy!
Cindy is AMAZING! She spends so much time
with your pup; more time then all other trainers out there! She did absolute wonders with our Great Dane. Our Dane suffered from anxiety. It was so bad I wasn’t sure if we could get rid of it. When we brought her home her anxiety was practically gone. Hands-down I would recommend her 100 times over!

Dedication, passion, energy, patience, consistency, love, and communication = just a few words to summarize this experience with my husky! I cannot say enough positive things about North Mountain K9 or about Cindy. The passion was clear from the start and while that’s what originally drew me to North Mountain K9, the flexibility, discussions, and excitement from Cindy is what finalized my choice. After the first owner training session, I constantly told everyone that this training was the best investment I’d ever made, and that just got stronger and stronger every time I had another session and got to see Murphy learning. She was able to turn him into a totally different (behaved!) dog while still retaining his ridiculously dorky personality. If she could take my psychotic, energy-filled wolf sable husky and teach him both the commands she did AND teach him how to learn in general, she can do anything! I also want to point out that if you’re looking for a place that’s passionate and great at teaching both dogs and people, go to North Mountain K9! Cindy legitimately had an analogy or metaphor for every single thing she taught- the goal is clearly to empower owners to continue the training and give them the tools and ability to understand the reasoning and methodology behind what’s being taught. Moreover, she is so communicative and responsive all throughout training and after. I am amazed, and I’ll absolutely be bringing Murphy back for advanced courses in the future!

Someone recommended Cindy, and bringing our dog to her was the absolute best decision we could have made for our dog. Her facility is extremely clean as well! You definitely get more for your buck with her. I would definitely recommend North Mountain K9.

As first-time puppy owners, my husband and I found ourselves continually behind the development curve of our spirited 9-month-old lab. Cindy skillfully reoriented our pup, correcting out-of-control behaviors while installing a set of commands for all of us to abide by. After 22 days we took possession of a much more mature, confident, and attentive dog.
North Mountain K9 exceeded all expectations with my Berger Picard puppy! Cindy’s patient and balanced training changed him from a shy, fearful guy, into a confident, obedient, happy boy. Picards are a quirky, but intelligent breed that require a gentle, controlled training method to bring out their confidence, and Cindy did just that. She read him perfectly and knew exactly how to train him without breaking down his spirit.
Her facility is absolutely spotless! Cindy provided me with frequent updates on his progress and also was so attentive to his health, as he suffers from tummy trouble, and is a very picky eater. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients. Oz and I can’t thank Cindy enough!
I highly recommend Cindy and North Mountain K9! Before his training my dog was difficult to handle and did not do well around new people. After training he is heeling easily on and off leash, following other commands with ease, and is much more pleasant with new people. I can take him on a walk without worry. So thankful for all the great work that Cindy did with my dog and with me!
